Children's Program

There will be a children’s program at MHG&MC to serve ages three to twelve.

The program will run during the main workshop periods:
Saturday 9:00 am to 12:00 noon and 2:00 to 6:00 pm
Sunday. 8:30 am to 12:00 noon and 2:00 to 6:00 pm

The children's program will include herb related arts and crafts, guided outings to identify and collect herbs, nature games, and herbal snack-making. We also intend to have a set of toys that can be used by various age groups for "free play" indoors or outdoors.

Chasity Sade of Port Townsend is coordinating the children’s program with the aid of several other locals. Parents with children in the program are asked to take a shift supervising the children during one of the 6 workshop sessions. We will be providing snacks, but parents should pick up their children for lunch. The program starts after breakfast and ends before dinner. The children’s program is subsidized by the conference and free of charge.

The children’s program will be centered at Building 331 of the Non-Commissioned Officers Housing. This is very close to the USO Hall, the main conference hub.
Parents interested in the program should contact Chasity directly at [email protected]
